The General Secretariat is responsible for:
To ensure the management of the careers of the university staff in accordance with the powers of the faculty and institute in the matter,
To prepare the draft budget of the university and monitor its implementation,
To monitor the financing of the activities of laboratories and research units,
To ensure the proper functioning of the common services of the university,
To implement the cultural and sports programs of the university and to promote them,
To monitor and coordinate the University's internal security plans in relation to the Departmental Internal Security Office,
To ensure the management and preservation of the archives and documentation of the rectorate,
To ensure the operation and the management of the university's law office.
The General Secretariat, to which are attached the general office and the internal security office, includes the following sub-divisions:
the Personnel and Training Branch,
the bugdet and accounting sub-department,
the sub-department of means and maintenance,
the scientific, cultural and sports activities sub-directorate.
