Born December 26, 1923 in Laghouat. Intelligent and brilliant pupil, he went to the Bencheneb High school of Médéa, which he left early to join the ranks of the French army as a volunteer. He fought in Indochina and settled in Morocco as an officer of the Signal Army. For his skills, he was advised by the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces in terms of transmissions. In June 1956, he returned to the ranks of the NL, alongside Colonel Abdelhafid BOUSSOUF. The latter selected him as instructor of the first "ZAABANA" promotion of the NL's communications technicians, in August 1956. After independence, he was an eminent cadre of the PTT ministry. He died following a traffic accident in 1965.
